I finally decided on a rough frame design WAF is good so far as long as it is done in 1 1/4" thick Walnut with a Satin Espresso finishwith slight 45 degree chamfer around all edges, heavy 45 at speaker edges. I borrowed a little style from DR and went from there.I also decided to go with the new MMG's and leave the basic frame intact and inserting it in the frame giving me a more substantial looking speaker than stock. The frame will be mostly cosmetic but since I can play with the top and bottom center sections of the frame dimensions, any suggestions as to how high I should have the drivers from the floor ? The tilt angle will be fully adjustable from 90 degree's to whatever. Not sure if I will still have a warranty but from my last pair they seem hard to kill anyway ! Thanks for any advice.
