Thanks for your feedback and confirmation. I did not get that type of feedback from Emotiva, they said it would work just as well which is not the case.

You are correct about the grip, the xpa-1 makes the bass out of the 1.6 so impressive, not to mention everything else.

Emo now has xpr-100 but I'm hessistant, might be slightly better than upa-100, waiting for more real reviews.
