When I first tried flipping my 1.6's around, I felt that I lost some of the crispness in the highs and the image went a bit out of focus. Later, I realized that (1) The panels were now tilting forward and (2) I didn't allow for the newly moved speaker cables to 'settle in' for a day before auditioning them.
Did you change your speaker tilt when you flipped them around ?
I think I'll try it again and give it a couple days--maybe do just one side at first and A / B it to the unchanged side. Should be interesting.
