You can wind your own inductor, too. Be careful with stuff like 12 ga. aircores which have very low DCR. They will change the frequency balance....though slightly, it will make a difference.
PM me and I'll send plans for a homebrew of no more than 5% lower DCR and from much thicker wire. My inductor is 'perfect' to theory, being 13 layers of 13 winds each. This makes a 'square' inductor in which all windings participate equally. The former is easily obtained at the local Home Despot.
BTW, you can improve the existing crossover by being rid of the jumpers and fuse....while eliminating at least 10 connections. Just a few minutes time and a brief interlude with your soldering iron.
You can also confirm the inductor with a DVM / DMM which I know you have. If not? You simply must get one for this project. Lift one leg and it should, indeed measure 0.4ohms.
