You are exactly right and the points are well taken. I have very little flexibility as is the issue with many. I may be trying to put a square peg in a round hole here, especially with Maggies. Some have suggested typical box type speakers may be a better option here. I'm not done trying just yet. I guess my aim is to mitigate the damage caused by my room and furnishings..
