Every tweak ever made that get an objection gets the same standardized response for the folks pushing for the tweak.
The main idea is to tell the uninterested person what a great thing they are missing out on, and how could they POSSIBLY not even try it.
Not interested.
It's the same line for expensive cables, room treatments, wierd chips, jars of rocks, wierd sticks...
Come up with a better story, the same old 'pickup' line is pretty tiring.
If I had a dollar for everytime i have heard that line, i would be wealthy.
And conversely, if everytime i heard that stuff, i went for it, I would be a fool and sucker bait in the worst sense.
And i did not say that acoustical room treatments did not work. I said they are ugly, (and only an idiot would do that to a room they actually live in.) added this point to clarify any confusion about large ugly panels stuck on walls, ceilings... However, any talented person could find a way (as i did) to achieve some of the results without the crap.
