see the poster below. They said I need a complaint frame, which is the opposite of rigid. See, I hate this kind of stuff ;)
I *totally* see the points about stressing the frame and thus warping it, but let's say I had a thin aluminum frame clasped to the mdf, or to each side of the frame, and then that was tensed (or braced, as I believe is basically what your stands seem to do, which are very attractive btw).
