I was thinking of downloading Open Office since I am not a fan of Microsoft which is sort of the Bose of the software. However I was able to get a copy of MS Office 2007 Enterprise for about $20.00 through the university so I continue with Microshit. Any case I suspect the problem may be with the Macro that loads the values for MMG-1 and I will check it out.
BTW MMG-1 refers to the 1st order bass filter which is the "newer" version of the MMG and MMG-2 refers to the 2nd order filter which was the original. Sorry for any confusion.
I dropped Taz's capless filter because I wanted to just have Magnepan XO's just like I have not made any attempt to plot out PG's serial XO's. If you want Taz's stuff, email me and I will give you a "customized" flowsheet.
As to being an Excel whiz, it really is not that hard, and I give credit to Mart who's spreadsheets I used as a starting point. It's just a matter of doing the math with complex numbers to calculate the impedance, following Kirchoff's laws, at several frequencies and creating graphs. While complex numbers can be daunting, the program does all the work. The data spreadsheets are hidden and you can unhide and unprotect them to see the calculations.
