Power

I think the amount of power required depends on the room and how loud you'll be playing. For my 3.6's in a moderate sized room in my apartment building (can't play too loud) the Pass X150.5 (150wpc) has far more power than I need. I can barely use a small fraction of the power - it's barely out of class A. Great sound too. The X150.5 was tested by HiFi News awhile back and clipped at, IIRC, something like 240wpc@8 ohms and 380wpc@4 ohms.

FWIW, I also had a Classe CA-201 (200wpc @8 ohms) sometimes compared with Bryston. The Pass was far superior in every category - transparency, midrange detail, bass control. It was a big step upward going to the Pass.
