I really like my PSAudio GCC series integrated which ALSO has the gain cell preamp section.
Clean and fast. and massively QUIET. Cool running, too. The ASP 500 modules are the middle of the ASP line. The '1000 has more HF rolloff into low impedance loads than others in the series.
Does the W4S use the ASP modules? If so, I suspect more in common with other ICE amps than major differences.
