It makes a difference only if you can hear absolute pitch, not everyone can. It's like perfect pitch - just about everyone can distinguish relative pitch but only a minority can hear a tone and identify the note and tell whether it's is true (in tune) or not.
However remember that the speakers are mirror images of each other so the other speaker should look like -++-.
If PG did the mod, then it is probably right since he tends to be a bit of perfectionist, but the best person to ask, obviously, is PG.
