especially since the construction budget will stop growing! I spent more on my room than I had planned, but I'd do it again the same way. I recall thinking that I could drop in light switches at about $7 for the entire room, or do the remote control Lutron lighting system with programmable "scenes" - $700! I struggled with that since the differential was so extreme. I had to keep thinking long term, and about the functionality of the room, so that I wouldn't diminish its purpose. I recall learning, "Buy the best and cry only once." I did it right, and have enjoyed it. A dedicated room which is done right so that it functions well is a joy.
