Hey J,
SOme one has to pick up PGs slack!
BTW, was there a minimum amount of pole-side Cascade before you started noticing the additional benefits? This test will be different because I no longer have to worry about any "deleterious effects" of the rubber itself.
look at this post:

9 and 1/2 strips was a good amount to hear the results, but all the way is better.
Get that family of yours to cut you some strips.
I do have concerns about the impact on dispersion angles. Being that I prefer & use MylarFront, I may not "hear" this, if it happens. The pole piece is facing back, as it should (just ribbing PG, he he). Conceivably, dispersion could become an issue for MylarBack users. I don't plan to turn my MMGs around since I have no "ingrained MylarBack soundprint" to compare with. Yet, there may be a basic starting point for this second side to start yielding benefits. If so, I may be able to provide a useful reference for MylarBack users.
Yeah, I had concerns too! But the cascade is fairly thin, and long story short when I was listening to the pole pieces, I liked the cascade on it better than not having it there. DOnt worry about the mylar front bunch...they probably cant use the cascade do to the grill being in the way.
Also remember that I am using some of the 3m and the rope caulk so my results might be a bit different....
