I recently got the latest Bluesound Node so that I can access music files on my WiFi-networked PC on a different floor in my home. Setting it up was easy, and the internal DAC does a good job on anything up to 24/192 files. The unit also reads files from a USB hard drive connected to it. There are other input/output options I haven't explored. I'm able to stream Apple Classical and Apple Music to the Node using Airplay (i.e., not losslessly).
Only two issues: It took well over an hour to index the 31K music files. Tech support indicates that reindexing is quick if files are added, but the index gets rebuilt from zero if files are deleted or renamed. Also, it took a long time for the Node to recognize the USB hard drive.
Throughput limits on my home WiFi cause interruptions on 24/192 files, but the same files play flawlessly from the plugged-in hard drive.

It's at the top of my list when I move off the Moode/Raspberry Pi I've been using for a few years. Thought about the Eversolo products but would rather run the thing from apps than have display with a GUI on the unit (just something else that could break).
