Actually, I need someone to explain how this lacquer is more reliable than the lacquers of pre WWII. This record is still a lacquer coated metal disc according to Burmester. See my lacquer disc picture below from my collection of Anna Marly, who wrote Leonard Cohen's popular tune "The Partisan."

Hopefully, the Burmester lacquer disc has a thicker coat of lacquer on the metal disc.

I have a 80's reissue in Near Mint I paid $10 some years ago....works for me!

Also, is this a vinyl record or a lacquer ??
