Soundsmith is reliable and does a great job. They rebuilt my Dynavector XX2MkII this Spring. Third rebuild on my cartridges, and always timely + excellent results. Turnaround was about 4 weeks for the latest.

This kind of service and turnaround is what I would expect, and what their web site says. After five months went by I asked if maybe they lost my cart. They said no, they're just backed up, and working on it. If other people are getting service in several weeks this spring, then obviously something out of the ordinary was going on with my order. I assume Peter will leave for Munich by Monday, so I should know more in the next few days.

  They've had my cart since Jan29. Was promised it would be done in 14 weeks, which has now passed. I sent an email a couple of days ago but not heard back.
  
  I've been doing business with Peter for more than 15 years and never had to wait more than 6 weeks, so I'm very surprised. But everywhere I look, companies are complaining about finding reliable workers, so I guess its to be expected.
