I just bought a new tv, to my surprise there are no rca audio out jacks.
Only option is a bluetooth sound bar made by the same manufacturer.
$300 minimum....
The speakers in the tv itself are terrible.
I have a few blu ray operas that i would like to play and enjoy the music.
Lou Reed, Berlin, RTF live ,ELP, The ring cycle...
I am thinking to buy a HDMI splitter one female to two male, take one male and convert to rca out put jacks...so I can play thru stereo.
Does anyone know the pin output numbers? I need to find the left and right signal pins, and also ground pin.
thanks for everyone's help...

The linky below will take you to a page w/ the pinout-
however you also need to click on the hyperlink on that page to understand the TMDS lanes...
It is not quite as simple as you hoped (?)...
Is there an optical output?
If so, that could work - there was a thread a few months ago (maybe a year ++) that talked about using an optical link to a iFi Optical to analogue converter box...

you are right, looks like i can buy a hdmi splitter, connect one side to a to a hmdi video converter to composite video with rca's and just use the audio jacks.. to my stereo ('77 Sansui au 317)I hope..... cost is < than $30.
