I disagree, the best sound experiences I've had were in tree lined spaces. I'm considering redesigning my back yard for such a space. Near infinite diffusion, excellent bass absorption and very few if any nodes.
But the back yard is a different story, there plants, trees can be placed in the ground, their "natural place," whereas an "unnatural place" for real plants is in the living room. Humans are sensitive to that. Bad for sound.

Do you have anything, but your own opinion, to back up that crazy theory?
An unhappy plant in the room with us and that makes the sound bad......Really????

Heh, great movie.
He must have watched (or smoked) too many plant based horror movies.
Strange that the Magnepan crowd always recommended ficus plants.

Experimentation is the key. I did not create reality.
