I am trying to repair my MC240 amp. I am now using a PHOTOFACT schematic of 1961. The problem is that I have already replaced the 4 electrolytic aluminum can capacitors and the 3 rectifiers in the PHOTOFACT schematic show a different polarity than the ones in the unit. I am inclined to continue the repair with the PHOTOFACT, and will have to switch around the rectifiers
as shown on the schematic. How trustworthy are the PHOTOFACTS?
Any suggestions are welcome.
Be confident that you have the + terminal on the cap seeing more voltage than the - terminal. Sometimes voltage doublers don't look normal so they might cause confusion when you are wiring. Put the parts in the same way you took them out.

They are both doublers and both the same. They are just drawn differently.
M1 is SR2 and M2 is SR1. C1 is C24 and C2 is C23.Tre'
