The old transformers were marked 0/10/200 on one side and B/P on the other side. The new ones are marked 0/30/300. So different output impedance meaning that I will have to replace both, no drama there. The other side on the new ones is marked B/P on the bottom, but unlike the originals also has + and - on top.
Can I ignore these extra connectors or do they need to be connected to something for the new output transformers to function properly?
B would be B+, P would be the plate. + and - would be the secondary.
Not sure I understand. It has two terminals marked B and P, two terminals marked + and -, and three output terminals marked 0 30 300? Maybe I need more coffee this morning...
Very possible. The original output transformers did not have these connections. I was trying to determine if they were anything to worry about.
Apparently they were not. I installed the new output transformers and the amp works fine.
