    Single stage DHT pre > two stage DHSET amp > single driver speaker.

        I got a BeePre first run. 6a3 is a direct drop in, much cheaper than 300b and really good 2a3 sound.
        Stereomour has a 3b7 DHT driver...-.beats my other SETs that have IDHT drivers.
        Going to try some more DHT drivers in the other amps.

        Haven't been dissatisfied with any vintage tubes. I'm listening to Philco coil spring hangers (I think are rebranded Sylvania). Sovtec has a new production single plate. RCAs are always good...-have two pairs of dual single plates. Good selection out there and a lot cheaper than rolling 300Bs.

        I saw some older posts you made regarding the Hogan 45. I never owned one, but did own the Korneff integrated. Is there something similar you would recommend?
        
        Seems like it will be a long wait until an original Korneff or Hogan comes along for sale.
        
        My speakers use the AER BD3b drivers, so they are very high eff.

        I would pursue something custom. I believe Tube Audio Labs has built some Korneff amps. If memory serves me correctly, he favored Electraprint Output Transformers. I don't believe they are around now.
