  I have a plan to build 300B PSE monoblocks. I am curious about what this tube can offer.

    PSE are really hard to build. The problem with DHT's and PSE is no matter how close they are matched, on a transient one tube will swamp the other and then you have this terrible distortion.
    
    I tried this for years and it was a bust. We even tried dual primary output transformers which worked pretty well but it was really expensive to make.
    
    Go for a bigger tube if you need more power.

      I really appreciate your comments. I have a very good power supply plan. However I didn't realize 300B is this hard to parallel. I always feel a single big tube sounds better than a bunch of small tubes in parallel.

      I've had pretty good luck wiring two SET amps with the secondaries in series rather than parallel. You need two output transformers for this, but the amps can share one driver stage and one power supply.
      
      Pentodes are more comfortable in parallel.

    PSE 300b will get you a barely noticeable +3db volume over a single 300b. Far better to get those 3 dbs (or 10 dbs) with more efficient speakers.
