I would say that by definition, Classic Rock is dead -
But if you want to listen to Classic Rock, then listen, it's all still there.
But there are hundreds and hundreds of amazing musicians that have been producing amazing music since Classic Rock became Classic Rock.Try scanning the KEXP channel on youtube.
They have an incredible archive of great musicians from every corner of the earth.Including these guys from Melbourne, Australia .....

I feel like you're making my point.
This has no lasting impression. They may be good musicians, but their song writing skills are non-existent.
Will this really be known more than a couple of years from now, if that?
This is only one of thousands of bands and artists that just don't appear on the mainstream charts any more. They run their own races they way they want, in their own fandom worlds.
KGATLW have released 25 LPs in the last 13 years, so they get a lot of prctice at song writing.
Anyway, get on the KEXP Youtube channel and just try stuff out. There's a whole universe there that doesn't appear in any pop charts.
