Wife left the hose slightly on out front of our 70's house for... a couple days, and I found out the hard way that the main line coming in isn't properly sealed. There was around 3/4" of actual mud in the triangle behind that corner wall, drywall ruined as cut out, and a fifth of the carpet is wet.
Time for an unplanned renovation.
Hope everything is dried and patched up quickly.

Everything is dry, majority of flooring torn out, drywall replaced. Need to speed up a bit now...

Not humidifiers but high power industrial fans will do the job. Rent them!
Good luck
Time for liberal use of concrete sealer.
Sorry to see that Grant. Is that a 3.6 on the left side of the picture? Hopefully your gear is all good...
Regards,
Steve
3.6, correct! Nothing damaged other than walls in the corner, and wet/damp carpet.

Time to break out a decent sized dehumidifier man...no kidding, if you dont runt a dehumidifier in that corner for at least a couple of days, you will continue to have mold problems.

You may already know this, but most definitely use an oil based primer (Kilz, Zinsser or the like). Normally not necessary except in bathrooms, but in your case better safe than sorry. The fumes are AWFUL, but it will dissipate, eventually.
Ask me how I know...ha ha

If you want to share I'm all ears.
Gray water line backed up...drain for washing machine backed up water dripped down into the basement, spread across the floor into my listening room. Luckily I have everything at least slightly off the floor, so no equipment damage, but I ran a medium sized dehumidifier for three days before the drywall showed moisture free. If you repaint before everything is bone dry, you will have issues down the road. FWIW Amazon sells a number of different dehumidifiers.
