The 1.7i's have arrived...unpack and set up tonight...will report back.
Initial set up, tweeters out, about a 15 degree toe in.
If your experience becomes anything like mine, you'll be dragging them around your listening room for the next 25 years (though I have 6 panels to tinker with). With all my trial and error, I think I've reached a point where any new and different positioning gives negative results, so I finally learned to stop.
...you either move or build a new listening room, and start over! :)
In fact, I (along with my Tympani IV-As) did move, however that was more 25 years ago so therefore wasn't considering that time period.
I hope not!
My previous experience tells me I will get them dialed in rather quickly...but..who knows!
Perhaps even if "dialed in rather quickly", fine tuning could require more time. :-)

Caution: Maggies are intoxicating and addictive!

..tell me about it..already thinking about a .7 for a smaller room...
I ran my 3.6's with a tuner for 4-5 days at low-medium volume to break'em in.
I will probably just let them break in organically..they sound quite
nice out of the box...maybe slight "tight"...which is normal for new Maggies..good times ahead.
Oh, the joy of such an experience! Your speakers will only sound better with time. Congratulations.
Thank you kind sir. I understand 100 hours is the norm...
