headphones.com is an exceptionally good site for a dealer, I think, with a number of overviews. Perhaps it can give you a good starting point for further investigation elsewhere.
Closed-backs are for not disturbing people around you -- and vice versa, sort of. They tend to sound a bit closed-in, although this will vary from model to model, I guess. Open models tend to sound more ... open. :-)
I've bought from them several times. They have a very reasonable returns policy. And they quickly replaced my purchase of Focal Clears that developed an internal rattle soon after purchase.
The youtube reviewer's affiliate links ALWAYS link to products with no returns...like this one

The YT reviewer for Headphones.com does NOT always like to products that can't be returned. The Focal Clear headphones that you linked to are an older model that was replaced with the Clear MG model. The newer model can be returned via their generous returns policy.
I have the originals, and I like them a lot! BTW I bought them from headphones.com. Soon after purchase, they developed a rattle inside one earpiece, and headphones.com promptly replaced them without any hassle.
