You wont be disappointed. Just get a solid seal with the tips, let it burn in and be amazed. Do try the bass filter if you like a robust bass.
FWIW in lots of regards it gives my kse1200s a run for the money and given the awesome deal its a much better buy.
Also make your life easy if you plan to be switching cables and get some of these.

Good tips, thanks.
Sure thing. The bluetooth actually sounds pretty good. Its older in that its a cable wrapping around your neck and the controls are only play/pause and volume up and down...no fancy button presses to do skip or rewind, etc. But this is the first time I could listen to music and it was acceptable.
And fwiw I had to use the large tips. Never had to do that with other iems. Medium was fine.
And if you want to go balanced, the 4mm balanced cable is in the box, and if you want to get other 3.5mm cables you can readily do that. Looking forward to hearing your experience.

Good info, I expect them tomorrow. I have other 3.5 mm cables I use with my Fiio's so the adapter find is really helpful. I'll post my impressions for sure.
Awesome. Look forward to your impressions and use case. I have 2 pairs now and am using one with bluetooth and one in the main rig with some pricey cables. They "disappear" pretty well.
Looking forward to the Fiio comparison too. I have a pair from them as well and IIRC its the F3 or something like that. Haven't compared them and don't really use the Fiios anyhow. Might revisit.

So I did indeed get them this week. Well packaged and clearly well made. Initial impression was perhaps a bit thin but very detailed. Got me thinking I had the same impression with my FIIO FH5s and it occurred to me fit is everything with these things. None of the provided tips really fit my ears and it was the same case with the FIIOs. Broke out my COMFY 500 tips (same as with the FIIOs). Stunned at the difference. Now not just detailed but full and weighted across the spectrum. Haven't had any real time to listen critically or compare to the FIIOs but color me impressed. If these aren't reference I don't care, they sound spectacular. Looking forward to some real sessions.
You are the man, but please quit finding deals. You're gonna send me to the poor house.
Awesome man! I might have understated the fit. I usually use medium tips but on these I had to go up to the large one. You are so right about the fit! Good for you getting it right. And don't forget the filters! Looking forward to an update but so glad you are enjoying them. Reference indeed.
