Hey Rod,
That's SOOOoooooo clean looking. Seeing the 'toys' is an added benefit.
It's a balance between clean optics and hiding the toys altogether.
Did you have the doors custom made?

It was completely custom. The shelves pull out far enough to connect cables and use heavy duty hardware. The bays are open completely in the back about 2" for cables behind the gear as well as cut outs on the back on the top and bottom which makes it fairly easy to make changes.

Thanks. If you find a cabinet maker, you may find that a custom piece is less than you might think. When I was looking for cabinets, I found that the width is either not big enough or was quite tight for 19" wide equipment. Likewise, the heights can vary.
