Having friends in a foreign soil is a huge factor.
At times I thought of migrating out of US but I have so many friends here who are dear to me and look after me. At my age it is important.
It sure nice to restart your life again.
Do you have plan to come back to the US ever again?

I don't have any plans to live there again, but to visit or perform, it's not out of the question. Perhaps not anytime soon. Let me enjoy my great escape for a while, after all! :)
I was born in, grew up in, and have lived most of my life in the United States, yet have always noted an interesting fact of my life: most of my music teachers, and most of my closest friends have been, and remain, from elsewhere. Now I'm elsewhere, and I'm feeling very much "at home". More so than I have for a very, very long time.
Whatever you do, do not give up your US citizenship. Enjoy your escapade outside the US. I'm sure everything looks so fresh and interesting!
