It looks like both AES six pac monoblocks blew a fuse. I am going to ask Cary for advice. However, does anyone know whether I should take any specific steps before using my monoblocks for the first time in 6 months? (ie. turn on amp without the pre-amp for an extended period of time, etc.)
The fuse was Eaton 1/2A.
FYI...I tried swapping a new preamp, dac and streamer without solving the problem. The fuses on both Magnepans look good.
Thanks everyone for your help! Hopefully, my system will start running shortly.
I replaced the fuse for both Aes six pacs.
The one mono block is working.
The red light on the other mono block won't turn on. Any idea whether this could be caused by a bad tube? Or something else?
Thanks...-.. that said, I had to send the monoblocks for service and Cary installed an "auto bias" in one of them.
