I think here lies the problem...we all have warped records, used or new, from respectable labels and not so respectable labels...
I know there are record flatteners out there, but they are darn expensive...that's why I think the way to go is let them be warp, the records that is not the record labels, records or etc...but when putting them on the platter, use a pheripheral ring clamp and center weight combination. They do a great job of flattening the record while on the platter and therefore, you get better sound. When you take the record off the platter, it's still warped, but who cares...it just sits in the LP Jacket....
That's my solution, but then again, that solution will run you about $500, on the cheap for a center weight and ring clamp...
