I have the following set-up
Speakers, Magnepan 3.6r
Audio Research vs 110
Audio Research cd3
VPI Scout with nine arm
All Cardas Neutral Reference cablesI am thinking of buying the Audio Research SP16 pre-amp with built in phono and running it with a Grado Reference Master, a $800.00 cartridge. Would this cartridge be overkill for the built in phono, is the built in phono good enough? I am hoping I will get a better sound with this grado cartrige as apposed to the $500.00 Grado sonata. Do you think if Stereophile reviewed this built in phono that they would classify it as a class B product? Thanks, I just want a well matched system. Thanks, Gerald.
