coincidence, just got a mono (Dutch) Ronette flipover cartridge for my L70 to replace the rusty stereo version. Got it off a Dutch site for juke box stuff. Indeed 6 g VTF minimum. A little too much IMHO for my precious classical/opera monos but indeed fun for 78s. VTF setting on the L70 arm is done with springs, you can set it up to 12 grams! It's a miracle so many of those old mono's survived.
