Just bought back a table I built!

After losing my system to a fire, I have been piecing together a new system. I was pretty much finished, with a Nottingham Analogue Spacedeck and Ace Space arm, but after getting in touch with the inmate who I built a table for in 2006, I had the opportunity to buy it back, and I am just ecstatic to have it back!

This table and base are aluminum, both lead shot filled, and combined weight is 99 lbs, not including motor, arm and armboard. It is Teres inspired, and uses a Teres bearing and motor (Signature II). The base is hard black anodized and the platter is polished bare aluminum, with a 5/8" thick carbon filled Teflon top, which is supposed to be static dissipative.

The owner included his Eminent Tech. ET-2 arm and I am currently using a Grado Prestige Gold cart, while I get used to the arm.

For this table, I made a HUGE stainless reflex clamp. WAY overkill, but it looks very cool anyway!

After filling the internal chambers with lead, I am a bit concerned with balancing the platter, but when I put a dial indicator on the platter, I see no change in runout (.0015") regardless of speed, so it's close.

I'll end off here with some pics...early pics when I made it, and current pics of it now.
