You will notice that Funk do not provide any objective evidence of any improvement and don't provide any specifications.
The one thing that it CAN do is provide azimuth fine tuning on fixed headshell tonearms without any means of azimuth adjustment.
If it really does what they claim, then they should be able to provide a "before" and "after" analysis of measurements made on the headshell and tonearm bearing with an accelerometer. The reality is that the benefit is highly dependent on the tonearm/bearing design and cartridge quality. Rather than say this outright, they appear to rely on customer curiousity to generate sales.
Anyone with a half-decent system that is properly aligned/setup is unlikely to get any REAL benefit. There may well be a difference in sound (just like using periphery rings) but it may not actually be a genuine "improvement" that can be objectively measured. Most likely it will be due to the change required in tonearm height not being achieved or simply that the offset/overhang is unlikely to be exactly the same as before once the cartridge is removed and realigned.
