Marantz CD5005

I don't currently own a cd player myself, but the Marantz CD5005 is well regarded in the reviews I've seen, and it's still listed on their website. Crutchfield has it in stock for $399. A friend of mine has the earlier CD5004 and remains happy with it. Current price on the CD6006 is $499. In What HiFi's 2018 article on cd players, they wrote, "The CD6006 is arguably the best entry-level CD player available, and it's had its price reduced since our original review. Bargain hunters, look no further."
