I am looking to replace my current all Linn system with "home-brewed" stuff. I already narrowed down on the speakers (Watt/puppy clone by L. Thorsten or Hedlund Lowther horn design)And i will probably get VAL pre-amp
based on the Marantz 7 topology. However there is so many amplifier designes out, that it is very hard to decide. I am debating between single ended class A Pass Zen(ss) amp or single ended class A tube design. I would like an opinion,(pro-cons) and suggestions, off course. Listen mostly classical (large scale, and other) blues, and some reggae.Thank you
