Morse, JL:
It's difficult to tell where they make the most difference. The first places I tried them were on my Hammer Super 12's external crossovers, with jumpers. After popping them in and out of the circuits a dozen times, I immediately disassembled the speaks and soldered them to the driver terminals.
I next made up some in-line Bybees with RCA's and swapped them about. They made a big difference on the inputs to Lundahl step-up transformers so I soldered a pair to the boards.
I tried them on the output legs of the Transcendent Balanced Power Supply, where they made a dramatic improvement. Needless to say, they're now soldered in. If I had ten more, I'd find ways to use them.
