Check the valve stem "valve" inside the the filler tube. When they loosen up they can bleed down. A simple tightening of the valve may stop the leaking down. You will need one of those steel filler caps that has the slot in the top of it. If there is a bicycle in the house, they should have the cap you need, Also if you remove the tire tube from your platform, fill it with air and stick it under water, the rising bubbles will show you where the leak isHTH Dave
