I buy the 3 inch diameter mylar balloons from a party store or florist (bulk available online) and source the inner tube air valves from the local bike ship dumpster. The valves, cut out with an exacto knife, are the perfect size to fit tightly in the balloon neck, but I glue them and use twist wires anyway. small hand pump to inflate...Mine supported the sandbox and the turntable for years without needing any adjustment. The ability to precisely level the turntable alone made this tweak valuable (someone had convinced me to stretch the springs to invigorate them LOL, which made leveling a pain. Other options include addition of an extention tube for access. Another option was to permanently seal the neck with a hot air curling iron. I went nuts with these as they are sooo cheap and effective, even placed them inside the sandbox supporting the stand alone motor supply... have fun. I don't know how to post a picture... jerry
