It makes a beautiful cover. Once you find your ideal length between shelves, just cut and fit this in; you may need a rubber washer on the ends to ensure no rattling.I made an entire rack and speaker stands out of copper pipe and it works wonderfully well and looks super. Even non-audiophiles are complimentary about it and ask me to make them some furniture! It's easy as hell.
