The teflon caps are even better!I had some vitamin Q capacitors in my amps and I heard a poster say that these were not so good. I replaced them with some film and foils and had a similar "ear opening" experience.
I only use oil caps in the power supply now where that sort of dampening of the AC frequencies is desired.
