I use Cardas AWG 19.5 Litz wire for all my internal wiring.It's difficult to solder,I heat the wire up witn my soldering iron, enough to melt the coating on each strand and it works fine.
For anything thicker than the AWG 19.5,you will likely need a solder pot.
