If you believe the Black Gate technical info, the reverse-parallel combination of two N-types will give you a very low-ESR cap that is almost pure C up to very high frequencies.I'm building a new phono stage with just this combo used for local supply decoupling (2 x 10uF N-types in parallel), so I hope it works!!
I seem to recall Martin Colloms trying some of the BGs and reporting that bypassing was unhelpful. Where did I see that....?
