I can't remember if it's the VAM1201 or VAM1202 in the CD6000 but they (and the CDM12.1, CDM12.4) are all interchangeable.I bought a VAM1201 to replace the CDM12.1 in my CD-63 and it cost me 16 UK pounds from www.grandata.co.uk. I actually ordered a CDM12.1 but they sent me a VAM1201 which is the newer replacement - it worked fine.
Shop around - they are cheap! (at that price you can buy a couple of them).
