I've found that there's a definite difference in response to these type of products (e.g. power affecting) for each component type. Here's my findings:
- source components definitely benefit from power/choke type filtering & digital isolation. Ferrites would be worth a try on power lines here.
- preamps benefit from extra capacitance (Quiet Lines) and filtering. Ferrites might also be a worthwhile experiment on power lines.
- amps benefit from extra capacitance, but not choke filtering. Shakti might be worth a try here.Only MHO
