I read in a 70s magazie that some one experiment with high voltage bipolar amp and think tha the sound is similar to tube. I just wonder how it may be like as tube amp can be so full of texture and effortless. Does it have to do with the fact that they are high voltage component. I will try to run high voltage fet as tube, parallel them if I need to in order to have the same power dissipation as tube. May be 80 to 100 volts is good enought....
