Why he's tolerated your mindless diatribes and attacks bordering on slander against Bybee are beyond me.Slander involves the spoken word. When it's written, it's libel.
Your "where's the proof?" arguments targeting Bybee can be applied to cd transports, most cables and a hell of a lot of electronics with no logical explanation that makes any sense from any of their manufactures.
I've questioned and challenged objective claims (and please note that I never question peoples' subjective experiences) made regarding all of those things. Many times. You're either doing a very very selective reading of my posts or you've some sort of obsession of my posts regarding Bybee to the exclusion of all other posts.
Why do you single him out for castigation?
Because quite simply, I don't.
Now, the issue of Bybee may come up a bit more often because one of his associates and most vocal advocates is a regular poster here.
It is beginning to smack of some personal agenda that borders on a purposeful attempt to destroy Mr. Bybees business.
Not personal at all. I despise frauds and charlatans regardless of who they may be. For the most part, I don't know whether those making outrageous objective claims are frauds or not. They may be, or they may actually believe what they're claiming. If they're sincere in their beliefs, regardless of how outrageous or flat out wrong, I wouldn't consider them frauds because fraud requires intentional deception.
It just happens that Bybee is one of the few which I am reasonably certain there is intentional deception. That came about when John Curl, a close associate of Bybee, openly admitted that information on Bybee's web site, which is used to market his products, was intentionally misleading. And that, quite simply, is fraud.
So, either Bybee is engaging in fraud, Curl is lying to us, or Bybee is lying to Curl. Take your pick.
Why not Transparent? Why not Krell? Why not 100 other high end manufacturers who protect their trade secrets by not telling how their products do what they do?
Because I could care less if a company doesn't tell how or what their products do. That's what you're supposed to do when you want to protect trade secrets. You don't say anything.
But that's not the case here.
Bybee has made and continues to make specific, objective claims about his product. And nearly every one of those claims have been nothing but BS. And when it was pointed out what BS they were, the excuses started flying.
The first excuse was that Bybee's accountant had written it. Then it was excused by saying Bybee was being intentionally misleading so no one could figure out what he was doing. Yet even from the hilarious, nonsensical BS his his account wrote, Curl claims that some physicist was able to reverse engineer the thing.
So no, this has nothing to do with not telling how or what a company's products do.
What has he done to you that merits this behavior that everyone else in this hobby doesnt do as well, yet somehow they manage to slide under the Steve Eddy thought police radar screen?
Thought police? Oh, you mean like people who say things such as:
Better yet - don't answer. Simply shut up and go away. Or at least shut up.
Congratulations. You've just tied Risch for the most blatant hypocrisy of the month award.
