I had a similar experience to your Leviton with the Hubbell IG5252. There was noticeable upper frequency emphasis. It was undesirable to me. The Hubbell IG5362 & IG5262 did not have this problem and sounded more balanced through out the audio spectrum. Both groups of receptacles use bronze type contacts, but the IG5362 group likely uses heavier contacts that apparently makes a noticeable difference.
