Dropping 10 bucks at Home Depot does not a pebble-pushing, magic-rock worshipping Tweakenstien make. This is the second "snake oil" slam I've taken on this thread. When did a joint called "tweaker's asylum" go so conservative? A couple years back I remember getting beaten up, right here, for daring to question the validity of a concept like the Shakti freakin' Stone. Now I replace a domestic outlet with an industrial one and I'm a voodoo hee-haw who's forgetting to kill his chickens?
It seems straight faced conversations can be had about $3000. power cords (or at least manic attempts to re-create them DIY--Hail Belden!), while I'm cast a sad case for tightening up my AC outlet and noticing in the resulting sound what I suspect (hope) is an artifact of "newness". Go figure.
I know this page has gone far more DIY than checkbook Tweak, but still, I'd hardly equate my long-but-simple question with the ravings of a Shun Mook monk.
Genuine thanks to the few more gracious (and more informed?) posters for the brass v. copper information and etc. To the rest...
Thanks for (in honor of St. Pat's Day) shite.
